International Women's Day Celebrations 'Nari Shakti' by IWD a big success in Dubai UAE

Dubai: This Friday, 3rd Mar 2023, the Indian Women in Dubai (IWD) celebrated International Women's Day in association with the Consulate General of India, Dubai - on the theme #narishakti with an empowering panel discussion on financial independence, cultural performances by cancer warriors, along with art exhibitions.

This year's event was aimed to showcase Diversity and Inclusion and witnessed two Special Performances from adorable kids from Children of Determination and from Brave Women Cancer Warriors. This year's theme was chosen to raise awareness and empowerment of the importance of providing an inclusive environment.
And to further add more sparkle to the event, the Indian Bollywood and Hollywood actress - Ms. Nitu Chandra Srivastava was the Celebrity Guest who flew all the way from India to Dubai to be a part of it.
Describing what Women's Day means to her, Neetu said, "Women are the reflection of strength and power. With their presence, the whole society grows together. They amplify their thoughts and love amongst everyone."
The Cancer Patient Survivors did a ramp walk to raise empowerment which made everyone emotional and moved her to tears.
Speaking to the media, Ms. Reema Mahajan, Founder of IWD said that " At IWD, we aim to empower women every day in our 55,000 members' strong community. An initiative of IWD, this year's International Women's Day was a platform to acknowledge and recognize the sheer hard work and passion our Indian Women have shown in different spheres of life. And this Friday we celebrated the achievements of women!"
